James Sieckmann has been the Director of Instruction at The Golf Academy at Shadow Ridge Country Club since the Club opened May 1, 1994. He is an eight-time winner of the Nebraska Section PGA Teacher of the Year and has been recognized by Golf Magazine multiple times as one of the Top 50 Teachers in America. Golf Digest named James the 16th best instructor in the United States last year and in 2018, James was named the P.G.A.’s National Teacher of the Year.
In addition, James is an Advisory Board Member of the Titleist Performance Institute and currently coaches over 10 PGA, LPGA, and Champions Tour players. He is the author of two books Your Short Game Solution – Mastering the Finesse Game from 120 Yards and In and Your Putting Solution – A Tour Proven Approach to Mastering the Greens. He has been a guest instructor on The Golf Channel’s Golf Academy Live as well as ESPN’s Inside the PGA Tour and has authored numerous instructional articles in magazines and newspapers nationally and internationally. He has also shared his instructional knowledge and coaching philosophy with other coaches throughout the world including PGA Spain, PGA Sweden and the Federation de Golf Columbia.
